Camillus House kicks off multi-million dollar capital campaign with major announcement from Bank of America

Camillus House will celebrate the launch of its capital campaign to raise funds for the new Camillus House Campus with a special announcement from Andrew Plepler, President of Bank of America Charitable Foundation. The reception and news conference will feature special guest speakers, including City of Miami Mayor Manny Diaz.
Through the $88 million campaign – “Open the Door to Hope,” the Camillus House campaign to end chronic homelessness in Miami – Camillus House will build a new state-of-the-art campus with multiple buildings to include a total of 340 beds for individuals who will be provided a wide range of social services and clinical treatment options. The beds will include emergency, transitional and permanent supported housing, including an addition of residential treatment and emergency housing for women.
Serving the South Florida community since 1960, Camillus House is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian services to poor and homeless men, women and children. Camillus offers a full continuum of services that includes food, shelter, housing, rehabilitative treatment, and health care. Each service is carried out with the deeply held belief that every human being deserves love, respect and an opportunity to live a dignified life.
