As Chief Financial Officer, Alejandro Ramirez is responsible for planning, implementing and managing all financial-related activities of the organization. He oversees multiple functions including budgeting, accounting, financing and corporate administration.

Prior to joining Camillus, Ramirez held positions of increasing responsibility at companies ranging from mid-size private firms to Fortune 500 corporations. He worked as Finance and Operations Manager for EMC Corporation’s Latin American headquarters in Miami, and was Financial Planning Director and VP of Finance at a Florida-based telecommunications carrier, where he raised $25 million in private capital and $13 million in mezzanine financing. He also was General Project Manager for a construction and engineering company in Medellin, Colombia.

Born and raised in Colombia, Ramirez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Antioquia School of Engineering in Medellin. He also received a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the MIT School of Engineering and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA.
