As Clinical Director of Camillus House, Ms. Cawley oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization’s programs, including Direct Care Ministry, Housing Services, the Institute of Social and Personal Adjustment (ISPA) and the Job Opportunity Bureau (JOB).
Ms. Cawley joined Camillus House in 1997 to redesign and implement a new treatment and rehabilitation program. Since then Ms. Cawley has served in several management capacities at Camillus.
Prior to joining Camillus she was with Associates for Human Potential, an organization working with pregnancy and addiction issues near Boston. Ms. Cawley has over 25 years of experience in providing and administering addiction, mental health and HIV/AIDS services to underserved populations.
In addition to her professional experience, Ms. Cawley brings a unique commitment to volunteerism. She is a founding member of Urban Community Mediators (UCM), the second mediation program to be established in the nation. Ms. Cawley has substantial experience in mediating neighborhood, family and consumer disputes. She has also provided training for neighborhood coalitions, school-based programs, criminal justice officers and human resources professionals.
Ms. Cawley received her Masters of Social Work from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. She is licensed in Florida and Massachusetts.
